God was Directing Our Steps

Tears blinded my eyes as I drove to where my husband was working.  My thoughts were racing while my heart was breaking.  I wasn’t even sure what to say once I reached him, but I knew it was time for him to come clean.

Thirty minutes earlier an acquaintance had called me to her home sharing with me the truth of what my husband had been doing. I had suspected something but didn’t want to face the fact that our marriage was broken.  During those few short weeks, denial had become a security blanket for me.
